This research was conducted with the objective of explaining some of the factors affecting the sustainable security of Khash City and measuring the degree of influence of each of these factors on sustainable security, in order to provide appropriate strategies for enhancing security in this city. In this research, cross-border, economic, and security-military factors were identified and analyzed as the most important factors affecting the sustainable security of Khash. Using statistical data analysis, the current security situation in Khash was examined. The statistical population of the research included 300 individuals from law enforcement and military experts, as well as the governorate and provincial government of Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Based on a total enumeration, 50 individuals were selected as the research sample from among military experts and border guards. By distributing questionnaires and analyzing the data using SPSS software, the factors affecting the sustainable security of Khash County were ranked. The findings indicate that cross-border factors had the greatest impact on the sustainable security of Khash County. Subsequently, economic and military-security factors were ranked in order of importance. These findings suggest that maintaining security in this city is heavily dependent on the presence and activities of security and military forces; at the same time, cross-border and economic factors also play a significant role in the sustainable security of this city. The results of this research can serve as a valuable resource for policymakers and planners in the field of sustainable security in Khash City.
