Developments in the domestic and international environment have caused the concept of national security to move away from its traditional, predominantly military interpretation and to become a multidimensional concept encompassing components such as economic, social, cultural, scientific, technological, and human security. In such circumstances, education is no longer merely a public service or a mechanism for knowledge transfer; rather, it is considered one of the most important infrastructures for generating national power, human capital, scientific capacity, and the country's resilience. From this perspective, the quality of educational governance can have direct and indirect consequences for national security. The main problem of this research is: Through what mechanisms can educational governance affect national security, and what governance requirements exist for transforming the country's educational capacity into security capacity and national power? The present research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach and document study. The findings indicate that the relationship between educational governance and national security is established through pathways such as human capital production, the development of science and technology, strengthening social capital, educational justice, reducing the mismatch between education and employment, increasing resilience, and reducing national vulnerability. Conversely, weak educational governance, institutional incoordination, lack of reliable data, centralization, weak stakeholder participation, and misalignment of education with national needs can lead to the waste of human capital, graduate unemployment, brain drain, reduced social trust, and increased strategic vulnerabilities.
