The digital age has today become an inseparable part of the life of all humanity, acting in many cases like a double-edged sword. Just as it has had a significant impact on the development and dissemination of science, it also has a considerable effect on the expansion of terrorist crimes. This article analyzes the forms of such criminal activities committed by terrorist groups in the digital space using digital technologies, including the dissemination of violent ideology and propaganda of terrorist activities, recruitment and training of new members, the use of digital technologies in the process of preparatory and direct terrorist activities, and financing. It can be observed that the development of the digital space and digital technologies greatly facilitates terrorism and also leads to changes in the mechanism of committing terrorist crimes. It is concluded that in order to ensure the effectiveness of measures to counter terrorist crimes in the digital space and the use of digital technologies, a clear strategy and an appropriate legal framework are required.
