The situation in Germany after the end of World War I created the groundwork for the rise of a dictatorship that would influence the fate of more than half the world in the greatest war in human history. Hitler, who succeeded in arousing and mobilizing public sentiment, quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the leader of the National Socialist Party, then Chancellor, and subsequently the leader of Germany. Thereafter, under the pretext of Germany's need for Lebensraum (living space), he initiated World War II on September 1, 1939.
The main problem in this research is to explain the military thought of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party during World War II, and the central research question is: What is the military thought of Hitler and the Nazi Party? The data collection method was library-based, drawing on a combination of sources, including books, journals, quarterlies, internet resources, statistics, and information from domestic and foreign websites. After a thorough review of documents and interviews with experts, the factors shaping the military thought of Hitler and the Nazi Party were identified and explained across several dimensions: theoretical and ideological foundations, political and military developments, and military ideas and experiences.
