The West Asian region has witnessed various developments in the last half century, which have been based on conflicts between regional governments and the role of supra-regional powers through the appointment of gendarmes for the West Asian region. But given the important role that Iran has played in the recent developments in the West Asian region, we are witnessing the formation of a new regional order in which a regional power such as Iran, in terms of power to restore stability to other countries involved with It has had a civil war and has been able to restore some security in the West Asian region. Accordingly, the purpose of this article is to explain the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the security of the West Asian region. Based on this, the present applied research, with a descriptive and analytical method and based on library data, has tried to provide a correct and acceptable conceptualization of the position and role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the security of the West Asian region. Based on this, the research findings show that Iran, as a regional power, has been able to ensure the security of the West Asian region by creating unity and convergence in the countries of the region.
